Another product is being announced that will be using the new Intel Atom Dual Core N550 Processor. Asus joins others imagein announcing a product that will make use of the Intel Atom N555 processor after it is release by Intel later this year. What has drawn my attention to this particular entry into the Netbook arena? Memory and Screen Resolution. This unit will sport 2GB’s RAM and a 1280 x 720 screen. Thank goodness that someone has put a higher resolution screen on a 10.1 inch screen format. Those few pixels will make a big difference in making this machine that much more a creative system vs. a consuming system. The extra display size is really important. Initial pricing is in Euro’s so maybe that is where it will initially be introduced I am guessing. I hope that it shows up over here soon as well. Pricing should be somewhere around $500 when it shows up over here.
